1st Birthday Block

Building block cake made for a 1st birthday. Fondant figures on top. 4 layer 8 inch strawberry lemonade cake. Strawberry cream filling and lemon curd buttercream filling.

Monkey Around

This order was for a very special little boy turning 1! Happy birthday to Christopher! The cake is a 3 tier cake - 6 inch sweet cream with vanilla buttercream, 8 inch milk chocolate with chocolate buttercream, 10 inch sweet cream with vanilla buttercream. Monkeys, palm trees, coconuts, bananas are all fondant. 1 and CMC are fondant/gumpaste mix.


Smash cake is sweet cream with vanilla buttercream.


Cookies are sugar cookies with royal icing.


Whew! This was a fun order, but lots of work! I'm guessing it took a total of 16-20 hours for everything! WOW! It was worth it though!

Topsy Turvy

8 and 10 inch sweet cream topsy turvy cakes with cream cheese icing. Covered in fondant. Smash cake is also sweet cream with chocolate cream cheese icing.

Made for a very special little girl turning 1. Love you, Phoebe! Hope you had a special day!
8 inch cookies and cream cake with cookies and cream icing. Lavendar fondant with pearl dust for shine. Buttercream accents, gumpaste butterflies.

Sunny Days.....

I made this cake for my nephew's 1st birthday. What a FUN cake to do! 6, 8, and 10 inch, iced in buttercream with fondant accents (characters, letters, sign, stripes and polka dots)

At home before transporting and adding the number 1 on top...

After traveling 3 hours and sitting outside in the heat for awhile.Smash cake, all buttercream except for the fondant polka dots. The characters are candles.
